9:30-10:30 a.m. -108 Traditional Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan Class. This is the most well known tai chi style worldwide, and is applicable for all ages.
10:30-11:30 a.m. - Chi Kung. Coordinated breathing and slow rejuvenating movements. This includes Chen style silk reeling, derived from the first tai chi style created in the 1700s, and the Five Organ Exercises, which are old temple maintenance exercises adapted in the 1950s for the general public.

Malibu resident Doria Cook-Nelson is a 38-year practitioner under Dr. Marshall Ho’o, Master Wen Mei Yu, and others. She has taught taijiquan for over 28 years and has many credits to her
name, including past president of the National Tai Chi Ch'uan Association in Los Angeles, Inside Kungfu magazine's Hall of Fame, past director and organizer of World Tai Chi Day in L.A., and is a contributing author/photographer for leading internal arts publications nationally and internationally. She is the winner of prestigious International Wushu competitions both here and in China.
